Memory & The Five Senses
This thesis is a collection of memories based on the three essentials for human survival, water, food, and sleep. You will experience six individuals’ recollection of their personal memories by the five senses within each category.
Within our generation, studies show that our brains are having a harder time grasping moments in order to create memories. Due to activities such as multitasking, we no longer think and focus on a given experiences to create a lasting memory from it. In order to regain this use of our brains back, we must constantly strengthen it by remembering past memories to create future ones.
Each subject was interviewed and tested. We designed, created and found each object and box for each subject. Each subject had 5 memory boxes.
